希伯來書9章24-28節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
24 因為基督並不是進了人手所造的聖所，（這不過是真聖所的影像）乃是進了天堂，如今為我們顯在神面前。
25 也不是多次將自己獻上，像那大祭司每年帶著牛羊的血進入聖所，〔牛羊的血原文作不是自己的血〕
26 如果這樣，他從創世以來，就必多次受苦了，但如今在這末世顯現一次，把自己獻為祭，好除掉罪。
27 按著定命，人人都有一死，死後且有審判。
28 像這樣，基督既然一次被獻，擔當了多人的罪，將來要向那等候他的人第二次顯現，並與罪無關，乃是為拯救他們。
 
希伯來書的作者清楚描寫了一個天上的景象，就是天上的聖所已不再需要地上的禮儀，不像舊約時期的祭司為了贖罪必須多次獻祭，耶穌這位大祭司是一次完成且永久有效。基督一次的獻上，把所有人的罪一次洗清和潔淨，並且祂現在就在神面前，為我們眾人祈求。 
 
這段經文給我們的是無比的盼望。基督一次的獻上，成為永遠的約，叫我們這群有罪的，得到神的赦免，並且基督在我們在世的日子每天為我們祈求。軟弱的、困惑的、失望的，主都知道，並且每天在神面前為我們代求，因為祂不僅明白我們的需要，祂愛我們。
 
禱告：
主耶穌，每個人都要面對死亡，祢完成了救贖，帶來的盼望給我們無比的安慰，並且祢每天看顧我們，我們感謝祢。 讓我們預備自己，等候祢第二次再來顯現。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。
 
Hebrews 9:24-28 
 
The scenario depicted by the author of the book of Hebrews gives us great comfort and assurance. There is no more sin offerings or sacrifice necessary in the heavenly sanctuary for Christ has done away the sins of all at the culmination of ages through His sacrifice on the Cross. He is now appearing before God for us. 
 
What a comfort, what kind of hope it gives us. We are forgiven because of Christ sacrifice and He is interceding for us while we are struggling and coping with things on earth. God knows us as we are in despair, who are weak and hopeless. He pleads on our behalf in the presence of God now, for He understands. 
 
Chris does not only sacrifice for us, He is interceding for us. It is hope.
