路加福音9章28-32節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
28 說了這話以後，約有八天，耶穌帶著彼得，約翰，雅各，上山去禱告。
29 正禱告的時候，他的面貌就改變了，衣服潔白放光。
30 忽然有摩西以利亞兩個人，同耶穌說話。
31 他們在榮光裡顯現，談論耶穌去世的事，就是他在耶路撒冷將要成的事。
32 彼得和他的同伴都打盹，既清醒了，就看見耶穌的榮光，並同他站著的那兩個人。
 
路加福音所記載的有關耶穌在山上變像，與馬太福音有些不同。馬太福音強調的是門徒短窄的眼光，路加福音卻提及門徒因疲倦而差點看不見這榮耀的片段。主耶穌在山上與摩西和以利亞談話，是預告祂的犧牲受死，成就了摩西的律法和先知的預言。當然我們仍然可以有不同的的解讀，但今天從路加福音，我們可以看到門徒的困惑和軟弱，這讓他們差點錯過了這榮耀的時刻。 這次耶穌登山變像的經歷確實是門徒一生的改變。 
 
疲乏的原因有很多，許多時候都是因為我們肉體軟弱，或是情感上的困擾，我們的思想充塞着不同的懷疑和困惑，我們就看不見神的作為，也看不見祂的啟示和慈愛的呼喚。
 
禱告：
主耶穌，祢是榮耀的王，我們也渴望生命中有經歷祢榮耀同在的特殊時刻，但我們也知道不一定在山上才看見上帝的榮光，在每一個生活的細小環節，我們都可以經歷祢。求主挪去我們的困惑及軟弱，讓我們常常看見祢的同在與榮耀。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
Luke 9:28-32 
 
The narratives of the transfiguration of Christ on the mountain where he met Moses and Elijah may have some different emphasis. The central theme is the foretelling of Jesus sacrifice to fulfill the laws and the prophets. Matthew emphasized the exciting reaction of the disciples but Luke mentioned that they were almost overcome by their sleep and missed the glorious moment. 
 
Fatigue can be our physical weakness but it can also be our emotional drainage or spiritual despondent. When we are obsessed with doubts and fears, we will miss the very moments of God’s work, His revelation and His calls. The meeting with God on the mountain can change the life of disciples. Yet staying awake spiritually, we can notice the traits of God’s Mighty Hands in small details of our lives.   
 
We may not need to meet God on the mountain but in small details of our daily lives.
