路加福音9章37-43節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
37 第二天，他們下了山，就有許多人迎見耶穌。
38 其中有一人喊叫說：夫子，求你看顧我的兒子，因為他是我的獨生子。
39 他被鬼抓住，就忽然喊叫，鬼又叫他抽瘋，口中流沬，並且重重的傷害他，難以離開他。
40 我求過你的門徒，把鬼趕出去，他們卻是不能。
41 耶穌說：噯，這又不信又悖謬的世代阿，我在你們這裡，忍耐你們，要到幾時呢？將你的兒子帶到這裡來吧。
42 正來的時候，鬼把他摔倒，叫他重重的抽瘋。耶穌就斥責那污鬼，把孩子治好，交給他父親。
43 眾人都詫異神的大能。〔大能或作威榮〕耶穌所作的一切事，眾人正希奇的時候，耶穌對門徒說：
 
一個父親因為孩子的病找耶穌的門徒，為這孩子趕鬼醫病，只是門徒沒有成功。這個父親就來到耶穌基督面前，懇求耶穌的醫治，耶穌的感慨是門徒的軟弱和不能，之後主就把這孩子醫好了。 
 
我們的信心確實是不真實，我們口頭上是跟從耶穌，但在實質的生活中卻沒有具體的行為，也沒有堅持的信念。多少時候當我們遇上人生的低谷，生活的挫折，我們的信心就崩潰了。主耶穌看見今天的我們，也許會同樣感到慨嘆。 
 
禱告：
親愛的主耶穌，主能作的，我們作為門徒應也能作，求主憐憫我們信心不足，引導我們憑藉信，繼續向前。 奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。
 
Luke 9:37-43 
 
The father of a child who was sick and possessed by demon sought the healing of Jesus’ disciples. Yet they were unable to cast out the demon. The father came to seek help from our Lord. Jesus was disappointed by the disciples and their lack of faith. He then healed the child. 
 
Likewise we are similar to the disciples. We profess our faith and claim to be disciples and yet we live otherwise. We do not live a life that correspond to our professed faith. When life turns against us, our faith collapse. Jesus may be disappointed with us too. 
 
What Jesus does, we should follow. Live in faith and be faithful, we can then move forward.
