詩篇27篇14節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
要等候耶和華！ 當壯膽， 堅固你的心！ 我再說， 要等候耶和華！

這首詩篇的背景是大衞正遭受掃羅王的追殺。其實大衞沒有篡奪王位的野心和企圖，只是掃羅心胸狹窄，害怕大衞搶他的王位，故一直追殺他。
 
這一節經文講的是等候，等候需要一種能耐，需要一個可靠的對象，也需要學習。現代人對等候這個功課並不熟悉，因為我們習慣了什麼都要效率，忘記了等候培養了我們的信心和勇氣，堅固了我們與等候的對象的關係。當我們等候神，在這過程中，我們更認識祂，並且學習真正信靠祂。

等候是帶着盼望的。今天我們盼望什麼呢？世上的一切人事物都會過去，故我們要盼望屬天的事，不要把全部的盼望放在屬地會過去的關係和物質上，否則我們只會感到失望。

禱告：
天父，我們要休息，要等候祢，要知道祢是神，並且相信等候祢的必不羞愧，求祢以祢的真理引導教訓我們。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。

Psalm 27:14

When we have to wait, we learn to persevere, we need to trust the people we wait upon and we mature in the process. Modern people don’t like to wait for we care about efficiency and we lack the character of patience. When we wait upon the Lord, we will be encouraged and we learn to know and trust Him. 

What are we hoping for today? If we hope for earthly treasure and relationship, we will be disappointed for they are temporary. What we can hope for is heavenly blessing and healing for they fulfil our hearts.

Hope in the Lord and we will be strengthened and encouraged. It is blessing.
