箴言11章18-25節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
18 惡人經營，得虛浮的工價； 撒義種的，得實在的果效。 
19 恆心為義的，必得生命； 追求邪惡的，必致死亡。 
20 心中乖僻的，為耶和華所憎惡； 行事完全的，為他所喜悅。 
21 惡人雖然連手，必不免受罰； 義人的後裔必得拯救。 
22 婦女美貌而無見識， 如同金環帶在豬鼻上。 23 義人的心願盡得好處； 惡人的指望致干忿怒。 
24 有施散的，卻更增添； 有吝惜過度的，反致窮乏。 
25 好施捨的，必得豐裕； 滋潤人的，必得滋潤。
 
慷慨的人，就是會多為別人着想，求別人的益處，願意付出的人。箴言書告訴我們，他們得到的比付出的更多。他們得到的是神的喜悅、心中的自由、並快樂的心靈，而那些只為自己的，可能得着了財富和虛名，心靈卻是貧窮空虛的。
 
箴言書形容女人有美貌而沒有智慧，就像金環戴在豬鼻上，換句話說，智慧比美貌更為重要。真正的智慧來自一顆敬畏神的心、追求真理的心，願意付出愛的心。 
 
禱告：
親愛的天父，慷慨的心靈是神給我們的，能夠祝福別人，也叫自己心靈滿足。 願我們都得著智慧的心， 有慷慨的心。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
Proverbs 11:18-25 
 
Generosity is a heart that cares and caters for others. It is a giving heart. Proverbs tells us that in the end these people gain honor and freedom, for giving is what God desires and it blesses others and gives us riches. 
 
Proverbs describes people with beauty but no discernment as a gold ring in a pig’s snout. Discernment is the wisdom to differentiate what is right in the eyes of the Lord. Fear God, care for others are far richer than beauty and wealth on earth. 
 
A generous heart is gift of God. It blesses us and others.
