路得記四章13-17節
神的小僕人
經文:
13 於是波阿斯娶了路得為妻，與他同房，耶和華使他懷孕生了一個兒子。
14 婦人們對拿俄米說：耶和華是應當稱頌的，因為今日沒有撇下你使你無至近的親屬，願這孩子在以色列中得名聲。
15 他必提起你的精神，奉養你的老，因為是愛慕你的那兒婦所生的。有這兒婦比有七個兒子還好！
16 拿俄米就把孩子抱在懷中，作他的養母。
17 鄰舍的婦人說：拿俄米得孩子了，就給孩子起名叫俄備得，這俄備得是耶西的父，耶西是大衛的父。
路得對拿俄米的愛和順服，及她最後和波阿斯結婚，為拿俄米的夫家生下孩子，似是很平凡的故事，但卻在平凡中顯出神的恩典與不平凡之處。路得和波阿斯生的孩子俄備得是大衛和主耶穌的祖先。
我們的故事也許很平凡，但在上帝的計劃裏面，就可以有不平凡的結局。我們怎樣在工作上盡忠、在服事中盡心、在家庭裏盡力，也許都很平凡，但盡心竭力就很不平凡了。
Ruth 4:13-17
The love and obedience of Ruth to her mother-in-law Naomi seems like an ordinary story though her love was extraordinary. The blessing she received by the love of Boaz and the eventual birth of their son was even more extraordinary for their son was the ancestry of David and Jesus Christ.
Our story may be very ordinary but in God’s plan it can become extraordinary. How we show faithfulness at work, loyalty in family, and our heart in ministry can all be very extraordinary.
