帖撒羅尼迦前書二章1-4節 神的小僕人
經文:
1 弟兄們，你們自己原曉得我們進到你們那裡，並不是徒然的。
2 我們從前在腓立比被害受辱，這是你們知道的，然而還是靠我們的神放開膽量，在大爭戰中把神的福音傳給你們。
3 我們的勸勉，不是出於錯誤，不是出於污穢，也不是用詭詐。
4 但神既然驗中了我們，把福音託付我們，我們就照樣講，不是要討人喜歡，乃是要討那察驗我們心的神喜歡。
保羅按著神的話、神的心意傳福音。他的服事是按着上帝的吩咐，發自內心對弟兄姊妹的愛，原原本本的把福音的真理告訴人。他沒有刻意得罪人，卻也不以討人喜悅為他服事的目的，他心中對準上帝及福音。
我們也應該反省，自己的言行是討人喜悦還是討神喜悅？我們的服事必須對準上帝，否則就失焦了。
1 Thessalonians 2:1-4
Paul preached the gospel according to the truth. He emphasized the need to focus on a pure motive and the will of God, not to please people. For Paul’s ministry is all about the gospel and the blessings of God.
It is the same for us as believers. How we live is not to please people but God. When we please God we will please others. This passage speaks so much to me for we need to keep our ministry as God’s appointment instead of human assignment.
