雅各書三章7-12節 神的小僕人
經文:
7 各類的走獸，飛禽，昆蟲，水族，本來都可以制伏，也已經被人制伏了。
8 惟獨舌頭沒有人能制伏，是不止息的惡物，滿了害死人的毒氣。
9 我們用舌頭頌讚那為主為父的，又用舌頭咒詛那照著神形像被造的人。
10 頌讚和咒詛從一個口裡出來，我的弟兄們，這是不應當的。
11 泉源從一個眼裡能發出甜苦兩樣的水嗎？
12 我的弟兄們，無花果樹能生橄欖嗎？葡萄樹能結無花果嗎？鹹水裡也不能發出甜水來。
雅各書的作者雅各直接地告訴我們，我們的舌頭是最不受控制的，其實骨子裏是我們的心的問題。我們的心若是邪惡，所發出的常是邪惡的話；心裏若是柔和謙卑，說出來的是造就人、建立人的好話。
我們的說話常就是我們心裏的表現。我們要控制舌頭，最重要的是我們要將心歸給神，求神保守我們的心。
James 3:7-12
James practically told us that the taming of the tongue is our biggest lesson. Yet it all cane to the issue of our heart. If our hearts are evil, the words are evil. If we are humble and gentle, we will say words that comfort and build up people.
Our words are demonstrations of Christian characters. Don’t praise the Lord with lip service while cursing others through our evil words.
