彼得前書二章4-10節神的小僕人

經文:

4 主乃活石，固然是被人所棄的，卻是被神所揀選所寶貴的。

5 你們來到主面前，也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，作聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督奉獻神所悅納的靈祭。

6 因為經上說：『看哪，我把所揀選所寶貴的房角石，安放在錫安，信靠他的人，必不至於羞愧。』

7 所以他在你們信的人就為寶貴，在那不信的人有話說：『匠人所棄的石頭，已作了房角的頭塊石頭。』

8 又說：『作了絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石。』他們既不順從，就在道理上絆跌，〔或作他們絆跌都因不順從道理〕他們這樣絆跌也是預定的。

9 惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

10 你們從前算不得子民，現在卻作了神的子民，從前未曾蒙憐恤，現在卻蒙了憐恤。

被揀選是一種福氣，被上帝揀選更是無比的福氣，只是今天我們常把蒙揀選、得着救恩的福氣視為當然，只因我們不夠看重屬靈的事。

彼得告訴所有信靠主耶穌基督的信徒: 我們是祭司，是屬神的子民，這種尊貴的身份是要我們活出來，見證上帝和祂拯救的大能。今天我們可能看重別人對我們的稱讚，工作的職位，教會的身份等，我們卻忘記了最重要的是我們是被神揀選、蒙福的兒女。

1 Peters 2:4-10

Being chosen makes us feel good, otherwise we feel lost and rejected. We are God’s chosen people yet we tend to take the identity for granted. We don’t take the blessing seriously and we never take spiritual matters on the right perspective.

Peter told us that we are priestly chosen people. This prestigious identity is bought through the sacrifice of Jesus. We may care about how people see us, our identity at work or our position in the church. Yet the most important identity is the chosen status of children of God. It is a blessing.
