 箴言二十六章 4 -12節 ( Proverbs 26 : 4 -12 )
箴言二十六章4-12節 神的小僕人
經文:
4 不要照愚昧人的愚妄話回答他，恐怕你與他一樣。
5 要照愚昧人的愚妄話回答他，免得他自以為有智慧。
6 藉愚昧人手寄信的，是砍斷自己的腳，自受損害。〔自受原文作喝〕
7 瘸子的腳，空存無用，箴言在愚昧人的口中也是如此。
8 將尊榮給愚昧人的，好像人把石子包在機弦裡。
9 箴言在愚昧人的口中，好像荊棘刺入醉漢的手。
10 雇愚昧人的，與雇過路人的，就像射傷眾人的弓箭手。
11 愚昧人行愚妄事，行了又行，就如狗轉過來吃牠所吐的。
12 你見自以為有智慧的人嗎？愚昧人比他更有指望。
如何應對不同的人、不同的意見，聖經特別是在箴言書裏面，給了我們很多的指示。許多時候我們試圖去說服對方，或彼此爭辯，這樣有時反而令自己陷入網羅。
上面4-5節經文互相矛盾，到底要如何回答愚昧人？ 第一種情況是「不要照愚昧人的愚妄話回答他」，理由是不要與他們同樣見識。第二種情況是「要照愚昧人的愚妄話回答他」，這句話的意思是「以其人之道，還治其人之身。」，讓他看見自己真實的情況，免得他自以為有智慧。
學習有智慧的和別人相處及對話，是一門功課，我們學習以謙卑的態度，以愛和智慧的言語和別人相處，勝過滔滔不絕的雄辯。
Proverbs 26:4-12
How to respond to different people, the Bible gives us lots of advice especially in the book of proverbs. To speak with arrogant people or a fool (those who refuse God according to proverbs) we are often tempted to argue with them or persuade them. At the end we are tempted to sin and fall onto the snare.
To interact and speak wisely with people, we have to learn to be humble in attitude and full of wisdom in the words of God. Never try to win people with an argument but with wisdom and love.
