Psalm 23:1-4
The psalmist describes us as sheep laying next to the creek feeling safe when the shepherd is protecting us. In fact sheep face immense danger on flat land. Yet the protection of the shepherd is the safest way. In the same way we live in daily danger and get protection from our Lord, sometimes without us knowing. God is with us and we shall fear no evil, says David.
The Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want. What do we want today? We don’t only want materially we are deprived spiritually. May God dwell among us and feed our needs.
