啟示錄二十二章1-5節神的小僕人

經文:

1 天使又指示我在城內街道當中一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從神和羔羊的寶座流出來。

2 在河這邊與那邊有生命樹，結十二樣果子，〔樣或作回〕每月都結果子，樹上的葉子乃為醫治萬民。

3 以後再沒有咒詛，在城裡有神和羔羊的寶座，他的僕人都要事奉他。

4 也要見他的面，他的名字必寫在他們的額上。

5 不再有黑夜；他們也不用燈光、日光，因為主神要光照他們。他們要作王，直到永永遠遠。

啟示錄所說到的有關新天新地，都是我們不能想像的，又或者說，因為我們的短視，我們只看重今生，那管將來和永恆的事呢？這是信徒值得反思的，我們的生命若沒有永恆的國度，也許就只管吃喝玩樂，永恆和將來都不在我們的考慮之內。但人生不只限於今生。

主耶穌死在十字架是為了給我們永生，若沒有永生的盼望，沒有永恆的角度，那麼到底我們信什麼呢？若我們的盼望在永恆，我們就不會那麼看重這世上的一切了。

Revelation 22:1-5

The new heaven and new earth is what have been promised by God for eternity. Yet it seems far away and people tend to take no notice of it. If so what we care will be things that happen for this life and we lose the perspective of eternity.

Jesus died for us to give us eternal life. If believers take no notice of it, we will dwell with what we will get and achieve in this life and forget about the promise of eternity. Our perspective of living will not be the same. Let’s not forget about God’s promise and live with the view that this life is temporary and transient.
