希伯來書十二章18-24節神的小僕人

經文:

18 你們原不是來到那能摸的山，此山有火焰，密雲，黑暗，暴風，

19 角聲與說話的聲音，那些聽見這聲音的，都求不要再向他們說話。

20 因為他們當不起所命他們的話，說：『靠近這山的，即便是走獸，也要用石頭打死。』

21 所見的極其可怕，甚至摩西說：『我甚是恐懼戰兢。』

22 你們乃是來到錫安山，永生神的城邑，就是天上的耶路撒冷，那裡有千萬的天使，

23 有名錄在天上諸長子之會所共聚的總會，有審判眾人的神和被成全之義人的靈魂，

24 並新約的中保耶穌，以及所灑的血，這血所說的比亞伯的血所說的更美。

昔日以色列人面對神的聖山，感到自己不配，他們活在惶恐之中，不敢靠近這山。我們的罪使我們活在害怕之中，我們不能接近聖潔的神，生活在惶恐不安，等待審判之中。但耶穌基督為我們的罪代贖，作了中保，我們藉着祂的恩典，可以和上帝和好，藉着祂的救贖使我們如今活在恩典之下。

現在我們可以親近神，不是因為我們的完全，乃是因為神的恩典。願我們感恩並珍惜神所賜的恩典與平安。

Hebrews 12:18-24

At the old times, the Israelites were fearful when God descended on the Holy mountain. They were scared because God was holy and men were sinful. It seemed like mankind can only live under the wrath and judgment of God. Yet Jesus has paid the cost of sins and redeemed us. We are now reviled to God and can draw near to Him under His gracious saving mercy.

Though we are not perfect we can come to God without fear because of Jesus salvation. We can now enjoy the peace and joy granted through His love. Let’s be grateful and cherish the days of peace He grants us.
