以賽亞書四十二章1-4節 神的小僕人
經文:
1 看哪，我的僕人，我所扶持，所揀選，心裡所喜悅的，我已將我的靈賜給他，他必將公理傳給外邦。
2 他不喧嚷，不揚聲，也不使街上聽見他的聲音。
3 壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷，將殘的燈火，他不吹滅，他憑真實將公理傳開。
4 他不灰心，也不喪膽，直到他在地上設立公理，海島都等候他的訓誨。
神的僕人是怎樣的呢？主耶穌基督忠心的順服神吩咐祂的工作，祂就是服侍的榜樣。神要祂的僕人在地上展示出祂的公義。即便耶穌在世時被人拒絕，受委屈，但祂沒有氣餒，也沒有放棄，直到祂完成神的工。
Isaiah 42:1-4
What is God’s servant like? Jesus Christ gave us the model. He is faithful to what God wants Him to do. He does not give up or is not discouraged despite He is rejected. He is to bring righteousness to the world, what is right in the eyes of God. The righteousness to pay the cost of death for sinners like you and me, this is the gracious righteousness of God.
What are we like as His children? Do we give up easily, do things half way, or do we persevere and never give up until we finish what God wants us to do?
