Galatians 5:2-6; 13-15
The Christians in Galatia were saved by grace and yet they turned back to the laws. People were urged to circumcise in order to become Christians. Paul corrected them saying we are freely saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus, and yet we cannot indulge in the freedom we have and fulfill our fleshly desire.
Many Christians are still living in the slavery of good work to please God. On the other hands some are celebrating their liberty, indulging in deceitful and selfish desires. Paul reiterated the principle of love as our core value. We should not abuse the grace we receive, biting each other ending up hurting one another.
Loving one another and yet relying on good work to keep please God is what we should aim for.
