使徒行傳20章17-24節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
17 保羅從米利都打發人往以弗所去，請教會的長老來。
18 他們來了，保羅就說：你們知道，自從我到亞西亞的日子以來，在你們中間始終為人如何，
19 服事主凡事謙卑，眼中流淚，又因猶太人的謀害，經歷試煉。
20 你們也知道，凡與你們有益的，我沒有一樣避諱不說的，或在眾人面前，或在各人家裡，我都教導你們。
21 又對猶太人，和希利尼人，證明當向神悔改，信靠我主耶穌基督。
22 現在我往耶路撒冷去，心甚迫切，〔原文作心被捆綁〕不知道在那裡要遇見甚麼事。
23 但知道聖靈在各城裡向我指證，說：有捆鎖與患難等待我。
24 我卻不以性命為念，也不看為寶貴，只要行完我的路程，成就我從主耶穌所領受的職事，證明神恩惠的福音。

這段經文可以說是保羅整個服事的自白，反映了他對福音的負擔，對靈魂的愛護。保羅知道神的靈一直在催逼他，在不同的地方對不同的人傳講耶穌基督的救恩，他甚至冒着生命的危險，完全不看重自己的需要，只看重上帝給他的使命。 
 
明明知道前路是艱難、危險，什麼驅使保羅有這樣的負擔和使命感呢？是因為基督耶穌的愛，和他對主愛的回應。保羅給我們的榜樣，就是放下自己，專注上帝給我們每一個人在不同的環境，不同的使命。 
 
禱告：
主耶穌，我們不知前路如何，但願信靠愛我們的神，盡忠於祂給我們的使命。 然而，靠我們自己做不到，惟有將生命連結於祢。求主將上頭來的愛與力量豐富地賜下，奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。

This passage can be considered a great self-revelation of Paul. He was totally committed to the tasks given to him by the Lord. He was called to speak up for the gospel, to save the lost souls and to preach to different people at different places about the good news. He considered his life worth nothing compared the tasks he was given to complete. 
 
Knowing there will be risks and dangers, how can Paul become so courageous and committed to the divine commission? The only answer is His love for Christ who graciously saved him. Believers today only want free grace and mercy without responding in action to the love of God. Paul set an example of sacrificial obedience to the Lord in doing what he was assigned by Christ, preaching to different people at different points. 
 
Trust the Lord despite we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, and do what He wants us to.
