哥林多後書三章16-18節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
16 但他們的心幾時歸向主，帕子就幾時除去了。 
17 主就是那靈，主的靈在哪裡，哪裡就得以自由。 
18 我們眾人既然敞著臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裡返照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。
 
這段經文的上文是根據一段歷史故事：摩西當年因爲見過上帝，臉上反映了上帝的榮光，以致以色列人不能定睛看摩西，保羅藉此提醒以色列人，今天我們讀神的話語，不要被這面紗蓋着，以致我們心硬，未能完全將心歸主。 
 
接着保羅提醒我們，神是個靈，哪裡有神的同在，我們的心就自由了，這自由是好得無比的。我們今天是否仍然活在困擾、壓力、追尋物質或某些滿足的籠牢之下，沒有自由，也不能快樂？保羅給了我們一條出路，就是活在神的靈的掌管之下。 
 
禱告：
親愛的主耶穌，原來真正的自由是活在神的掌管之下，看似沒有自由，卻在神裏得着真正的自由。 願主除去我們心中的帕子，聖靈充滿我們，讓我們得著基督裡的真自由。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 
 
 Through the historical event when Moses’ face was full of glory and the Israelites could not look at him, Paul rebuked the Israelites for the veil they put on, resisting the teaching of the Lord at his time. Likewise we have an hardened heart and we refuse to listen to the rebuke of our Lord today for our hearts are covered with the veil of rebellion. 
 
Paul went on to say God is a Spirit and in Him we are all set free. Yes it is so true that we are living in different bondage of life. We are miserable for things that we pursue, for the stress, burden and trouble of living. When we can really submit to the Lord, we are free from worldly pursuit and are set free under the sovereignty of God. 
 
 Instead of becoming slaves of our desires, we are free as slaves of our Lord.
