箴言18章4-8節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
4 人口中的言語如同深水； 智慧的泉源好像湧流的河水。 
5 瞻徇惡人的情面， 偏斷義人的案件，都為不善。 
6 愚昧人張嘴啟爭端， 開口招鞭打。 
7 愚昧人的口自取敗壞； 他的嘴是他生命的網羅。 
8 傳舌人的言語如同美食， 深入人的心腹。
 
箴言常常提醒我們，我們的話語就代表了我們的個性和我們的價值觀，沒有智慧和真理的說話帶來的只會是爭端。
 
今天我們和別人交往的時候，我們的話題是什麼？常離不開政治、旅行、娛樂、那裡去尋找好機會得益處，甚至談別人的八卦等等，有些時候更會因為一些看法互相爭吵。
 
神的話語是安慰和建立人，但願我們的話語也是如此。且人心懷藏思想和謀略，好像深水，惟有明哲人才能汲引出來，但願我們作明哲人。
 
禱告：
親愛的天父，愚昧人的口自取敗壞； 他的嘴是他生命的網羅。 求祢勒緊我們的舌頭，不要作傳舌人，愚昧人，而是作智慧人，多說造就人的話。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
Proverbs 18:4-8
 
Proverbs always remind us that our words reveal  our character and our values. Without wisdom, our words will only bring forth argument.
 
We need to reflect what we say in our daily conversations.  We may only be keen to talk about where to entertain ourselves, where to look for profits and opportunity. Sometimes we fight because our words bring along conflicts.  God desires we speak to comfort and to restore, as God’s words always do.
 
Control our tongue and speak words that build people up.
