約翰福音14章15-20節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
15 你們若愛我，就必遵守我的命令。 
16 我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師，叫他永遠與你們同在， 
17 就是真理的聖靈，乃世人不能接受的；因為不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因他常與你們同在，也要在你們裏面。 
18 我不撇下你們為孤兒，我必到你們這裏來。 
19 還有不多的時候，世人不再看見我，你們卻看見我；因為我活着，你們也要活着。 
20 到那日，你們就知道我在父裏面，你們在我裏面，我也在你們裏面。
 
主耶穌對門徒講解有關聖靈的降臨，門徒當時確實有點不明白。但當耶穌解釋的時候，主清楚的告訴門徒及今日的我們，聖靈的同在就是神的同在，就是神的靈充滿我們，就是我們與神同工。
 
主耶穌在這段經文的末後更告訴我們，祂是活着的主，因祂活着，我們有活潑的生命，我們能作祂的見證。這是信徒的把握，是上帝的應許。
 
禱告：
主耶穌，祢應許賜下聖靈，不撇下我們為孤兒，求祢讓每位信徒知道祢與我們同在，我們並不孤單，因有內住的聖靈在我們裡面。願我們更愛祢，也經歷到祢向我們顯現。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
John 14:15-20
 
Jesus explained to His disciples about the coming of the Holy Spirit.  They could not understand at the time but Jesus assured them the Spirit would represent God living in our heart.  With Him, we can do what God desires and plans for us.
 
Towards the end of this passage, Jesus further assured us that He is alive, and we are able to witness Him and live a passionate life.  This is what is promised and what we can hold
onto.
