歌羅西書二章6-12節

神的小僕人 
 
經文：
6 你們既然接受了主基督耶穌，就當遵他而行。
7 在他裡面生根建造，信心堅固，正如你們所領的教訓，感謝的心也更增長了。
8 你們要謹慎，恐怕有人用他的理學，和虛空的妄言，不照著基督，乃照人間的遺傳，和世上的小學，就把你們擄去。
9 因為神本性一切的豐盛，都有形有體的居住在基督裡面。
10 你們在他裡面也得了豐盛。他是各樣執政掌權者的元首。
11 你們在他裡面，也受了不是人手所行的割禮，乃是基督使你們脫去肉體情慾的割禮。
12 你們既受洗與他一同埋葬，也就在此與他一同復活，都因信那叫他從死裡復活神的功用。
 
什麼東西會成為我們的主人，就是我們會被它擄去的東西，這可能是我們的人生觀、我們的哲學、我們的慾望、或世上不同的見解、政治的取向，這些東西本來不是壞的，但它們若成為我們的主流思想和價值觀，凌駕神的真理之上，漸漸地我們就被擄走了。 
 
世上實在太多的哲學和理論，叫人漸漸的被吞吃了。我們常不知不覺中接受了這些理論，更把這些理論放在基督真理之上，使得主耶穌豐盛的恩典、拯救和旨意都被其他的理論掩蓋了。我們要小心上面第8節所說的，並在耶穌基督裡生根建造。
 
禱告：
天父，信徒要知道這個世界的事，卻不要被這個世界的思維和理論帶走，忘記基督豐盛的恩典和真理。我們知道神本性一切的豐盛，都有形有體的居住在基督裡面。現今的世代邪惡，求主保守我們，不被世界的價值觀、意識形態擄走，這是我們的禱告，特別是為下一代的禱告，求主垂聽。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。

What master is is what makes us the servants. They can be the philosophy of the world, the value system, the desires of our hearts, or even political preference. They can corrupt us and make us look up to them more than the grace and truth of God. 
 
There are too many philosophical theory and idealism that gradually can eat us away. We can be distracted and forget the precious salvation of the Lord. Believers need to know the world and yet we need to beware of their deceptive and human impact. We should not be guided by them instead of the Truth and the Word. 
 
Be cautious for the gradual impact of worldly philosophy for the world is evil.
