列王記下四章1-7節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
1 有一個先知門徒的妻，哀求以利沙說：你僕人我丈夫死了，他敬畏耶和華是你所知道的，現在有債主來，要取我兩個兒子作奴僕。
2 以利沙問他說：我可以為你做什麼呢？你告訴我，你家裡有什麼？他說：婢女家中除了一瓶油之外，沒有什麼。
3 以利沙說：你去，向你眾鄰舍借空器皿，不要少借，
4 回到家裡，關上門，你和你兒子在裡面，將油倒在所有的器皿裡，倒滿了的放在一邊。
5 於是婦人離開以利沙去了，關上門，自己和兒子在裡面，兒子把器皿拿來，他就倒油。
6 器皿都滿了，他對兒子說：再給我拿器皿來。兒子說：再沒有器皿了，油就止住了。
7 婦人去告訴神人，神人說：你去賣油還債，所剩的，你和你兒子可以靠著度日。
 
經文記載是以利沙幫助窮寡婦的故事，窮寡婦什麼都沒有了，還欠下債務，以利沙幫助她，叫她把油倒在空瓶子裏，直至所有的瓶子都裝滿了油，寡婦和她的兒子就靠着賣油還債和過活。 
 
神的供應永遠是足夠的，我們剩下的可能不多，但神可以藉着我們的有限幫助我們，叫我們足夠。當日子不容易，當我們缺乏，當我們感到一無所有的時候，但願我們看見我們的神，就把我們剩餘的成為我們的滿足，甚至別人的祝福，這是何等大的恩典。 
 
禱告：
天父，我們有的、剩餘的可能不多，卻相信是足夠的，況且我們的神是可以把「沒有」變為「有」的神。 願您使用我們所有的一切資源成為祝福。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
2 kings 4:1-7 
 
The story is about how prophet Elisha who helped the poor widow. The widow was left with nothing except debts. Elisha helped her by asking her to fill the empty jars at home with the oil she had. As she poured the oil, the jars were filled and the widow could pay off the debts and lived upon the oil that was given.  
 
God always provides. We may be left with a few and He can help us and make up the inadequacy. When we see our lacking, when things are barely enough, when we feel there is no more hope, God always makes up for us. May we see how God can miraculously provide and what are left are always adequate for us.  
 
What we have may not look enough but God can provide and He can make something out of nothing.
