創世記二章4-9節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
4 創造天地的來歷，在耶和華神造天地的日子，乃是這樣，
5 野地還沒有草木，田間的菜蔬還沒有長起來，因為耶和華神還沒有降雨在地上，也沒有人耕地。
6 但有霧氣從地上騰，滋潤遍地。
7 耶和華神用地上的塵土造人，將生氣吹在他鼻孔裡，他就成了有靈的活人，名叫亞當。
8 耶和華神在東方的伊甸立了一個園子，把所造的人安置在那裡。
9 耶和華神使各樣的樹從地裡長出來，可以悅人的眼目，其上的果子好作食物，園子當中又有生命樹，和分別善惡的樹。
 
在神美好的創造中，需要天上雨水的滋潤，需要人的努力耕耘，這是上帝創造的心意。有了這些滋潤和耕耘，園中出產的都是悅人眼目，又能叫人飽足的食物。這是神的創造，是祂祝福世界的心意。 
 
只是今天的世界已經不再完美，到處都是戰火、爭端、自私詭詐的計謀。也許有人會懷疑為何上帝要創造生命樹和分別善惡樹，最終叫人犯罪（見創世記第三章），罪就染污了整個世界。其實上帝要創造的是有自由意志的人類，人有自由，可以選擇聽從神，吃生命樹的果子；或者違背上帝，吃分別善惡樹的果子。 吃了分別善惡樹的果子，就意謂著人想自己做上帝。
 
禱告：
天父上帝，祢創造天地萬物的原意是祝福，但人的自由意志常不選擇生命樹，而是選擇分別善惡樹，想自己做上帝。生命也是一樣，聽從還是違背神會帶來不同的結果。求主幫助我們選擇生命樹，在基督裏得著永遠的生命。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
 
Genesis 2:4-9 
 
The passage clearly depicted the beauty of creation. The world needed rain coming from heaven to water the ground, and man’s effort to cultivate the land. The garden was then full of tree and plants that gave by our food pleasing to the eyes and fulfilling the stomach of mankind. This is the good purpose of creation.  
 
Yet the world has been turned upside down. There are wars, fights and selfish moves everywhere. We may blame God for putting the tree of life and the tree of knowledge in the garden, with the latter eventually brought forth sins and the adverse consequences. The spirit is that obedience or disobedience is the free will. We can still turn wayward disobeying God with or without the tree. 
 
The purpose of creation a blessing but the consequence of sins is destruction. It is the same with our life, when we choose to obey or disobey.
