箴言29章18-23節
神的小僕人
經文:
18 沒有異象，〔或作默示〕民就放肆，惟遵守律法的，便為有福。
19 只用言語，僕人不肯受管教，他雖然明白，也不留意。
20 你見言語急躁的人嗎？愚昧人比他更有指望。
21 人將僕人從小嬌養，這僕人終久必成了他的兒子。
22 好氣的人挑啟爭端，暴怒的人，多多犯罪。
23 人的高傲必使他卑下，心裡謙遜的，必得尊榮。
聖經告訴我們，若沒有異象(默示)，民就放肆，意思是說，當我們沒有聽得到上帝的聲音，我們就會任意妄為，各人偏行自己的路，選擇滿足自己的生活。
當我們懂得等候神的指示，相信神的默示和安靜在神面前，我們就不會用自己的方法去處理問題，不會急躁以致犯罪。這是一個很大的提醒與功課，教我們要懂得真心尋求神，並等候祂的指示。
禱告:
天父，「沒有異象(默示)， 民就放肆」，求主教導我們謙卑下來，不急躁發怒，在神面前尋求指示，並謹守神的吩咐，不任意妄為。 奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
Proverbs 29:18-23
Without revelation, we will cast off restrains and go our own ways. In other words when we don’t hear from God, or don’t wait upon His words, we will resort to our own ways and do things we desire.
It is so true that the best way to resolve problems is to wait upon the Lord and His instructions. By doing so we will refrain from rushing to a conclusion or decision that is against the will of God. It is a good reminder for us to truly seek the Lord in our different stages and needs of life.
Without revelation, people will cast off restraints and go in the wrong way.
