喜樂之地

彼得前書一章3-8節

神的小僕人

經文:

3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神，他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉著耶穌基督從死裡復活，重生了我們，叫我們有活潑的盼望，

4 可以得著不能朽壞，不能玷污，不能衰殘，為你們存留在天上的基業。

5 你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得著所預備，到末世要顯現的救恩。

6 因此，你們是大有喜樂，但如今，在百般的試煉中暫時憂愁。

7 叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被火試驗，仍然能壞的金子，更顯寶貴，可以在耶穌基督顯現的時候，得著稱讚，榮耀，尊貴。

8 你們雖然沒有見過他，卻是愛他，如今雖不得看見，卻因信他就有說不出來，滿有榮光的大喜樂。

彼得形容信徒在經過考驗的時候，信心就像經過火一股的試煉，成為精金，是神所喜悅的，可以在主再來的時候，得著稱讚，榮耀，尊貴。又雖然我們沒有見過神，但仍然相信祂，這是不容易卻極美好的，因為信徒有活潑的盼望，可以得著不能朽壞，不能玷污，不能衰殘，神為信徒存留在天上的基業。

生命最可怕是沒有盼望，我們勞碌努力，若是沒有盼望，一切就徒然了。信徒生命唯一的盼望就是我們的主，祂知道我們所遭遇所承受的一切，祂憐恤我們，並堅立我們，最重要的是祂給我們最美的盼望。

1 Peter 1:3-8

Peter told us that we encounter difficult situations and we have to tread through them. Doing so we will be like refined gold, precious and worthy, as God desires. We don’t like the process but when we realize we have the solid inheritance waiting for us in heaven, we may think otherwise.

The worst part of life is when we have nothing to hope for. Just like when we labor hard, we expect to provide for our family and our children. Trials are hard but we must trust that what God promises us, the rewards and inheritance, are certain, not only in this life but till eternity. Going through hard times, hope is what build our faith and our perseverance.

We will then made precious gold, refined through fire.
