喜樂之地

加拉太書五章1-4節

神的小僕人

經文:

1 基督釋放了我們，叫我們得以自由，所以要站立得穩，不要再被奴僕的軛挾制。

2 我保羅告訴你們，若受割禮，基督就與你們無益了。

3 我再指著凡受割禮的人確實的說：他是欠著行全律法的債。

4 你們這要靠律法稱義的，是與基督隔絕，從恩典中墜落了。

我們在基督裏都是自由的，自由的意思是我們不再需要守律法來得着救恩，因為救恩來自基督白白的犧牲，不是我們的努力。聖經強調的是基督的恩典，我們努力行善是因為得着恩典後感恩而行的。

今天仍有很多信徒以為可以靠行為得著救恩，蒙神喜悦，這不是因信稱義的道理與聖經的教導。有時覺得做得不好，上帝就不喜悦，甚至會懲罰，這不是真理，因為我們的神願意我們甘心樂意的跟從祂，不是用懲罰來恐嚇我們。

真正的自由是可以甘心樂意的跟從上帝，得着祂的喜悅。

Galatians 5:1-4

Real freedom in Christ is the free gift of grace and forgiveness, not through our effort to comply with the Laws to gain salvation. We are all fall short of the Law and the bible repeatedly emphasized the grace through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross instead of our good behaviour. We do good deeds simply because we have freely received the gift of forgiveness of God.

Many believers are still working hard thinking that our good deeds please God. Sometimes I feel the same thinking God will punish me because I’m not good enough. This is the trap to our doctrine of faith and salvation. Like a father, God loves to see us following Him because He saves us and freely gives us the identity as children. We obey Him because we are loved.

Real freedom is the freedom to obey God that really pleases Him.
