士師記六章36-40節

神的小僕人

經文:

36 基甸對神說：你若果照著所說的話，藉我手拯救以色列人，

37 我就把一團羊毛放在禾場上：若單是羊毛上有露水，別的地方都是乾的，我就知道你必照著所說的話，藉我手拯救以色列人。

38 次日早晨基甸起來，見果然是這樣，將羊毛擠一擠，從羊毛中擰出滿盆的露水來。

39 基甸又對神說：求你不要向我發怒，我再說這一次，讓我將羊毛再試一次，但願羊毛是乾的，別的地方都有露水。

40 這夜神也如此行，獨羊毛上是乾的，別的地方都有露水。

基甸為了求証上帝的吩咐，一次又一次的要求神給他神蹟，顯明神的吩咐。信徒初信的時候可能是如此的，看見了我們才信。只是當我們在主裡的日子久了，信心成長了，在未看見或環境不如理想的情況，我們仍能堅持相信。

基甸信心看似軟弱，但他願意坦誠的來到神面前，求神讓他確信神的心意，我們不要小看基甸的信心。願我們每一次經歷了神的幫助和恩典後，我們的信心也不斷增添。

信心是相信那位看不見的神，在我們看不見的時候，祂已經動工。

Judges 6:36-40

Gideon asked God for miracles once and again in order to prove that God was really instructing him to lead the Israelites. This is how our little faith starts to grow too. We don’t trust God unless we see things happening as we desire. As we learn to grow in Christ, our faith matures and we learn to trust without seeing.

We may think Gideon is lacking faith. Yet he is honest with God and he brings his lack of faith to Him. We are all of little faith and every experience we have in Christ helps us grow in faith.

Faith is trusting that our God is working despite we do not see anything.
