歌羅西書一章9-11節
神的小僕人
 
經文:
9 因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住的禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道神的旨意。
10 好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，漸漸的多知道神。
11 照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜的忍耐寬容。
 
信徒常常談及有關明白上帝的旨意，什麼才是上帝的旨意呢？保羅在歌羅西書給了我們一些答案。他提到要有屬靈的悟性，就是能明白神心意的能力，這樣信徒才能懂得什麼是神喜悅的，什麼是良善，怎樣忍耐和寬容。
 
我們怎樣明白我們家人的需要呢？就是因為我們一起生活，了解他們，並因着愛，體貼他們的需要。同樣要明白神的心意，必須常常活在神的話語之中，並愛祂、尊崇順服祂。
 
要和蒙召的恩相稱就是要活出神的心意。

Colossians 1:9-11
 
Believers always talk about living in the will of God. How do we know His will?  Paul gives us some answers in this passage.  He told us that we need a mindset to know Christ, thereby living a life that pleases Him, a life that shows what is good in His eyes, and living with patience and endurance.
 
How do we know what our loved one's desire?  We live with them, talk to them, and we understand them and we try to please them.  In the same way this is what our Lord desires.  He loves to see us loving Him, following Him and pleasing Him.
 
Living a life that is worthy of our call is what pleases our God.
