提摩太後書一章1-5節

神的小僕人
 
經文：
1 奉神旨意，照著在基督耶穌裡生命的應許，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，
2 寫信給我親愛的兒子提摩太，願恩惠憐憫平安，從父神和我們主基督耶穌，歸與你。
3 我感謝神，就是我接續祖先，用清潔的良心所事奉的神，祈禱的時候，不住的想念你，
4 記念你的眼淚，晝夜切切的想要見你，好叫我滿心快樂。
5 想到你心裡無偽之信，這信是先在你外祖母羅以和你母親友尼基心裡的，我深信也在你的心裡。

保羅寫信給提摩太，提及他的母親和外祖母，她們是提摩太屬靈的榜樣。保羅提醒提摩太，要緊記信仰的承傳，特別是長輩們留下的信心的榜樣，因為這些都是寶貴的。 

今天的人對於上一代的人，已經失去了那種敬畏和尊重，更忘記了他們給我們的榜樣。許多時候我們只看見他們的缺點，卻忘記了他們給我們許多美好的見證，特別是在信仰和屬靈生活上。屬靈生命是一種學習，聖經的教導是真理，屬靈老師給我們的是生命的見證。 
 
禱告：
親愛的耶穌，今天願我們都找到屬靈的榜樣，也但願我們也能成為別人屬靈的榜樣。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。
 
2 Timothy 1:1-5 
 
Paul wrote to Timothy and reminded him about the spiritual examples of his mother and grandmother. They were spiritual legacy and Timothy should remember and always follow. 
 
Nowadays people tend to look down on our ancestors or spiritual teachers. We may think that they are outdated, forgetting what they have set are great spiritual examples and legacy of faith for us. Spirituality is a process with the words of God as the foundation and spiritual walk following the examples of our spiritual leaders. 
 
Who are our spiritual examples? May we thank God for them and follow their path.
