喜樂之地

耶利米書29章10-14節

神的小僕人

經文：

10 耶和華如此說：為巴比倫所定的七十年滿了以後，我要眷顧你們，向你們成就我的恩言，使你們仍回此地。

11 耶和華說：我知道我向你們所懷的意念，是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念，要叫你們末後有指望。

12 你們要呼求我，禱告我，我就應允你們。

13 你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。

14 耶和華說：我必被你們尋見，我也必使你們被擄的人歸回，將你們從各國中，和我所趕你們到的各處招聚了來，又將你們帶回我使你們被擄掠離開的地方，這是耶和華說的。

猶太人被據到巴比倫，滿了七十年的日子，神應許要把他們帶回應許之地。神要實踐祂的恩言，要按照祂的計劃去祝福和建造以色列人。對以色列人來說，這七十年是悲哀痛苦的年日，但在神的計劃之中，是神眷顧的日子，也是有盼望的日子。

我們會問為何要讓以色列人受七十年的苦呢？確實有許多的時候，我們都困在一些環境之中，是困難的、叫人沮喪的，要我們忍耐和受苦，正是在這樣的景況中，我們才懂得轉向上帝，得着神的眷顧和拯救，這樣的經歷叫我們更清楚神的真實和大能，也體會到自己的軟弱。

禱告：

親愛的天父，祢的意念不是要傷害我們，乃是要祝福我們，是在末後叫我們得著平安和盼望。我們要呼求祢，向祢禱告，求祢應允我們。主耶穌，祢曾應允：尋找的就必尋見，叩門的就給他開門。主耶穌，願我們都尋求祢，呼求祢，得著拯救、平安和盼望。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。

Jeremiah 29:10-14

The Jews were taken captivity to Babylon, and God delivered them after the full seventy years. God declared His good promises of deliverance and His master plan to bless and restore. The seventy years of suffering is in His plan and the promise of deliverance is our hope.

Why seventy years, why pain, we may ask. So often we are trapped in all kinds of sufferings and desperation that we cannot comprehend. Yet it is in this time of needs and difficult circumstances, we come to know God and experience His saving hands. We will then experience the grace of God and recognise our weakness.

God’s plan is not to harm us but give us peace and hope. He promises and we must believe.
