箴言三十章7-9節
神的小僕人
經文:
7 我求你兩件事，在我未死之先，不要不賜給我。
8 求你使虛假和謊言遠離我，使我也不貧窮，也不富足，賜給我需用的飲食。
9 恐怕我飽足不認你，說：耶和華是誰呢？又恐怕我貧窮就偷竊，以致褻瀆我神的名。
箴言的作者向上帝求什麼呢？他求的是使謊言和虛假的事離開他，他求的是不富足也不貧窮，只求神给他所需要的。
為什麼他這樣求呢？就是他不願意因着富足就忘記神，又或因為貧窮以致犯罪羞辱上帝。這是敬畏上帝的心，是以上帝為中心的生命，是真正的信仰。
禱告: 神啊! 但願我們的生活不虧缺祢的榮耀，並能見證榮耀祢。若我們曾有不好的見證，求主赦免。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
Proverbs 30:7-9
The writer of proverbs asked God for two things. He wanted to stay away from all falsehood. He also wanted not to be too rich that he would forget God, or too poor that he would steal and bear bad witness.
How will someone pray like this? They are believers who care about the name of God instead of their own self interest. This is fearing God, this is spirituality, this is authentic Christianity.
Dear Father may we all live a life that glorify You. If we ever bear bad witness, please forgive us.
