耶利米書二十九章10-14節

神的小僕人

經文:

10 耶和華如此說：為巴比倫所定的七十年滿了以後，我要眷顧你們，向你們成就我的恩言，使你們仍回此地。

11 耶和華說：我知道我向你們所懷的意念，是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念，要叫你們末後有指望。

12 你們要呼求我，禱告我，我就應允你們。

13 你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。

14 耶和華說：我必被你們尋見，我也必使你們被擄的人歸回，將你們從各國中，和我所趕你們到的各處招聚了來，又將你們帶回我使你們被擄掠離開的地方，這是耶和華說的。

耶和華藉着先知耶利米發出一段安慰的應許，幫助以色列人在被擄的日子，安心等候神的幫助。以色列人被巴比倫人擄去後，要等候七十年，這不是一段短的日子，但耶和華應許必把他們從各處帶回應許之地，這是神的信實，也是以色列人的盼望。

面對全球的疫情, 或是生活上的困難，我們不知道還要等候多久，但要相信神是好神，祂對我們所懷的意念是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念。

禱告: 天父，感謝祢對我們的看顧和祝福，祢的話語決不徒然返回，祢的應許永不落空，保守我們對祢有活潑的信心。我們要專心尋求祢，向祢呼求，求祢天天將平安賜給我們，帶領我們走永生的道路。聽我們的禱告，奉耶穌基督的名，阿們。

Jeremiah 29:10-14

Yahweh sent through His prophet Jeremiah to comfort the Israelites who were defeated and captured by the Babylonians. God foretold the period of capture would be 70 years and they were to wait upon the return which God promised. It is not a short period but God promised to gather them and return them to the promised land.

During pandemic, or times of challenges, we are captured by the downfall of lives. God assured us that He is sovereign and He will save us at his appointed time. For our Lord’s plan is to prosper us, not to harm us. What an assurance.

Thank God for His everlasting love and care. His words never return empty, may we all trust Him.
