創世記四十五章6-8節

神的小僕人

經文:

6 現在這地的饑荒已經二年了，還有五年不能耕種，不能收成。

7 神差我在你們以先來，為要給你們存留餘種在世上，又要大施拯救，保全你們的生命。

8 這樣看來，差我到這裡來的不是你們，乃是神。他又使我如法老的父，作他全家的主，並埃及全地的宰相。

這段話是約瑟在埃及當宰相時對他兄弟們所說的話。約瑟被他的兄弟出賣，以至於受了多年的苦，但他逐漸明白他之所以被賣到埃及去，有上帝的旨意，為的是預先準備他在埃及，到饑荒的時候可以保護和支援他的家族。能夠這樣理解上帝的心意和自己過去面對的艱難，是多麼不容易，反映出約瑟屬靈的生命和眼光，這是一個和上帝有親密關係的人才有的。

許多時候我們不能體會到上帝的心腸。讀經禱告、親近上帝，不是一個儀式，也不僅僅是一個習慣，而是一種屬靈的學習，學習從神的角度看每一個經歷、每一個挑戰，在順服中明白上帝的心意。但這又何嘗容易？這往往需要時間。上帝對我們不離不棄，我們也不要放棄，要繼續緊緊跟隨祂。

Genesis 45:6-8

Joseph was sold to Egypt by his brothers, yet he could see the good purposes of him there. He perceived it as a mission by God to be there to prepare and relieve his people at the famine time.

So often our spiritual life is restricted by our narrow perspective and mind to embrace the will of God. Doing devotion and staying close to God is not just a habit but a learning practice, a process to see things from another angle and another way, a way that God desires. Through such then we trust and obey.
