約書亞記五章13-15節
神的小僕人
經文:
13 約書亞靠近耶利哥的時候舉目觀看，不料，有一個人手裡有拔出來的刀，對面站立，約書亞到他那裡，問他說：你是幫助我們呢？是幫助我們敵人呢？
14 他回答說：不是的，我來是要作耶和華軍隊的元帥。約書亞就俯伏在地下拜，說：我主有甚麼話吩咐僕人。
15 耶和華軍隊的元帥對約書亞說：把你腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站的地方是聖的。約書亞就照著行了。
以色列人走了四十年，來到臨近迦南地，要面對強大的耶利哥城，他們的領袖約書亞在這個時候遇見上帝，但他一開始未認出。約書亞並不知道神是來幫助他們的，結果上帝的答案叫他俯伏在地，因為耶和華神要作他們軍隊的元帥。
禱告: 神啊！祢是我們每天生活的元帥，我們每天都要到祢的面前敬拜親近祢，經歷祢的愛，祢的安慰和鼓勵，並且等候祢。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
Joshua 5:13-15
After the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, they arrived at the fringe of the promised land and had to enter Jericho. Joshua, their leader, met with God as Moses did. His encounter was yet a bit different as he did not recognise God and Yahweh told him that He is the commander of the whole Israelite army.
God is the commander of us in our daily warfare in life. We are standing in his holy ground to receive His assurance and support everyday. Like Joshua we should submit and surrender.
Every morning let’s stand in God’s holy ground and listen to Him, obeying and trusting.
