羅馬書十二章1-2節
神的小僕人
經文:
1 所以弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的，你們如此事奉，乃是理所當然的。
2 不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良，純全可喜悅的旨意。
保羅鼓勵所有的信徒，活出基督的樣式，首先就是要將身體獻上當作活祭，這是什麼意思呢？祭物是被焚燒獻上的，保羅說是「活」祭，不是把我們焚燒了，而是在生活上把自我都完全獻上給神。
要放下自我，活出神的心意，是我們最大的挑戰。將自己獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的、是神所喜悅的，這才是真的敬拜。
Romans 12:1-2
Paul reminds us to offer ourselves as living sacrifice. What does that mean? Sacrifice is burnt and offered to God. Yet Paul is not asking us to burn ourselves but to give up our old self, the selfish pride, and to submit to God.
We are the major obstacles to a submissive spiritual life. We know the words of God well but we cannot live it out. It is because we want our way, our gains. To offer ourselves as living sacrifice is holy and pleasing to God. It is true worship.
