創世記三章1-6節
神的小僕人
經文:
1 耶和華神所造的，惟有蛇比田野一切的活物更狡猾。蛇對女人說：神豈是真說：不許你們吃園中所有樹上的果子嗎？
2 女人對蛇說：園中樹上的果子我們可以吃。
3 惟有園當中那棵樹上的果子，神曾說：你們不可吃，也不可摸，免得你們死。
4 蛇對女人說：你們不一定死；
5 因為神知道，你們吃的日子眼睛就明亮了，你們便如神能知道善惡。
6 於是女人見那棵樹的果子好作食物，也悅人的眼目，且是可喜愛的，能使人有智慧，就摘下果子來吃了，又給他丈夫，他丈夫也吃了。
當蛇引誘夏娃的時候，牠用「像神能分辨善惡」來引誘她。能分辨善惡不是好事嗎？但問題是我們想自己作上帝。許多撒但的引誘都是十分狡猾的，表面看起來很好、很屬靈，但內裏卻是驕傲自誇，自我膨脹的表現。
現今的世界豈不充滿著人類的自滿自誇？驕傲這個東西是十分隱藏的，它叫我們違背上帝，體貼自己，不能抵擋引誘。
禱告: 主耶穌，求主幫助我們，每天緊緊跟隨主，遠離試探和兇惡。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。
Genesis 3:1-6
When the serpent tempted Eve, it said, “you will be like God knowing good and evil.” Isn’t it good to be able to distinguish between good and evil? The issue however is that we want to be like God, which reflect our pride and arrogance wanting to be independent of God.
Isn’t the world is full of arrogance? It is so subtle that sometimes we spiritualize it and hide it beautifully. There are self content, defiance and pride inside our mind and hearts, and we fall into the temptation of satan.
Lord help us to follow You closely so that we don’t fall into the traps of pride and arrogance.
