馬太福音十三章31-35節
神的小僕人
經文:
31 他又設個比喻對他們說：天國好像一粒芥菜種，有人拿去種在田裡。
32 這原是百種裡最小的，等到長起來，卻比各樣的菜都大，且成了樹，天上的飛鳥來宿在他的枝上。
33 他又對他們講個比喻說：天國好像麵酵，有婦人拿來，藏在三斗麵裡，直等全團都發起來。
34 這都是耶穌用比喻對眾人說的話，若不用比喻，就不對他們說甚麼。
35 這是要應驗先知的話，說：『我要開口用比喻，把創世以來所隱藏的事發明出來。』
主耶穌常用比喻來解釋天國的事，因為天國的事就是隱藏的秘密，而這隱藏的秘密卻因基督耶穌的受死和復活，就是救恩，顯明出來。主耶穌以芥菜種和麵酵來比喻我們的信心，信心常是慢慢的成長，但卻可以作大事。
不要以為我們信了很久，我們的信心就比初信的大；也不要以為我們熟悉聖經，我們的信心就比其他人強。每一個經歷主耶穌的人都經歷信心的成長。芥菜種的信心是由我們接受主的一刻開始慢慢成長，也許看似細微、隱藏，但耶穌以微小的方式在我們心裡做工，使我們在不同的處境下經歷上帝而成長，並且也可以做看似微不足道的事去鼓勵或祝福別人。
禱告: 謝謝耶穌在我們心裡做工，使我們的信心成長。願我們的信心像一粒芥菜種一樣，可以長成樹。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們！
Matthew 13:31-35
Jesus used parables to depict the mystery of the kingdom. The mystery hidden is the salvation of Christ which has been fully revealed when Jesus died on the cross and resurrected from the death. Our faith begins like a mustard seed or yeast when we first converted. Yet it can grow and do great things in Him.
Don’t ever think our faith will grow the longer we converted or the more familiar we are with the Bible. Faith starts as small like a mustard seed but grow as we experience God in our spiritual journey. We can be blessings and support to others despite our faith is small and insignificant in our own eyes.
