約翰福音十三章18-22節
神的小僕人
經文:
18 我這話不是指著你們眾人說的，我知道我所揀選的是誰，現在要應驗經上的話，說：『同我吃飯的人，用腳踢我。』
19 如今事情還沒有成就，我要先告訴你們，叫你們到事情成就的時候，可以信我是基督。
20 我實實在在的告訴你們，有人接待我所差遣的，就是接待我，接待我，就是接待那差遣我的。
21 耶穌說了這話，心裡憂愁，就明說：我實實在在的告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要賣我了。
22 門徒彼此對看，猜不透所說的是誰。
被自己所愛的人背棄或背叛都是痛苦的事，他們恩將仇報、忘恩負義，所帶來那種錐心的痛，不是每個人可以理解的。主耶穌曾經歷過，因為祂揀選的門徒、祂所愛的和教誨的，都曾離棄祂、其中一個就是猶大甚至出賣祂。
若我們知道誰會出賣我們、背叛我們，今天我們會怎樣對待他們呢？我們可能會傷害他們，以免被他們傷害。主耶穌對出賣、離棄祂的門徒，沒有憎恨報復。今天我們對背叛我們的人，或是和我們不同意見的，我們怎樣回應呢？在受傷害的時候，我們該怎樣對待傷害我們的人呢？求主憐憫幫助我們。
John 13:18-22
It is painful when we are betrayed or turned against by someone we love. We can feel the pain of betrayal, ungratefulness, and hurting. Not everyone has this experience but Jesus did. He chose the disciples, lived them and spent time teaching them. Yet they all turned away when He was crucified. One of the disciples even betrayed him.
If we know someone is going to hurt us, betray us or say bad things about us, how will we be treating them？ We may hurt them before they hurt us. Jesus did otherwise. What a lesson for us today. How are we to treat those who betray us, or perhaps just disagree with us？ May God help us turn bitterness into blessings.
