詩篇119篇16-24節
神的小僕人
經文:
16 我要在你的律例中自樂，我不忘記你的話。
17 求你用厚恩待你的僕人，使我存活，我就遵守你的話。
18 求你開我的眼睛，使我看出你律法中的奇妙。
19 我是在地上作寄居的，求你不要向我隱瞞你的命令。
20 我時常切慕你的典章，甚至心碎。
21 受咒詛偏離你命令的驕傲人，你已經責備他們。
22 求你除掉我所受的羞辱和藐視，因我遵守你的法度。
23 雖有首領坐著妄論我，你僕人卻思想你的律例。
24 你的法度，是我所喜樂的，是我的謀士。
在這個世代，人不看重神的話，人看重的是政治領袖的政見與承諾，上司的指令，經濟學家的預測。唯有在我們竭盡所能亦無力挽救的時候，我們才想起那位創天造地的神。
但詩人不像我們，他渴慕神的話，神的話是他的安慰、是他隨時的幫助，是他生活的準則。但願我們與詩人一樣，渴慕神的話。求神開我們的眼睛，使我們看出神律法中的奇妙。
Psalm 119:16-24
In this modern world, people are indifferent to the words of God. What do people listen to and follow today? We listen to political leaders and their promises, the instructions of our bosses, the forecast of economists. Only when we exhaust all the means of self provision, we turn to almighty God who creates and sustains the world.
Look upon the psalmist, he pursued God’s words, His instruction and decree as the basis of his living. May we live like him, pleasing God to open our eyes and eyes so that we understand and follow.
