約翰福音十五章5 -11節
神的小僕人
經文:
5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做什麼。
6 人若不常在我裡面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裡燒了。
7 你們若常在我裡面，我的話也常在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求就給你們成就。
8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。
9 我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣，你們要常在我的愛裡。
10 你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裡，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裡。
11 這些事我已經對你們說了，是要叫我的喜樂存在你們心裡，並叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。
主耶穌用葡萄樹和枝子的比喻，來教導我們和祂的關係。這段經文裏，耶穌三次提到「在我裏面」，怎樣才是在耶穌裏面呢？愛主、跟從主、遵行祂的誡命就是在祂裏面。耶穌應許我們，凡在祂裏面的，都會結好的果子，榮耀上帝。
在疫情嚴峻的日子，我們已灰心、失去信心嗎？耶穌提醒我們要常在祂裏面，時常記着神的話、神的應許、神的保護。我們每天不要只看疫情的數字，反而要抓緊神的應許和看顧。
John 15:5 -11
Jesus used the analogy of the vine and the branches to deputy our relationship with God. In this passage He spoke three times about “remaining in Him”. What does that mean? It means loving Him, following Him and obeying Him. Jesus promised that if we remain in Him, we will bear fruits and glorify Him.
Aren’t we all let down by the severity of COVID - 19? Are we depressed and losing faith? Let’s return to the Lord and focus on His promises. In Him, we remember His goodness, His love and protection. Don’t rest our confidence in the number but in the Lord and all He can and will do for our good.
