馬太福音十三章44-46節
神的小僕人
經文:
44 天國好像寶貝藏在地裡，人遇見了，就把他藏起來，歡歡喜喜的去變賣一切所有的，買這塊地。
45 天國又好像買賣人，尋找好珠子。
46 遇見一顆重價的珠子，就去變賣他一切所有的，買了這顆珠子。
天國的福音是寶貴的，主耶穌比喻它是寶貝藏在地裡、又像貴重的珍珠，當人發現了這寶貝，便不惜放下一切來換取它。只是我們是否這樣看福音呢？福音對我們而言是否好像寶貝呢？
主耶穌在這裏不是要我們用什麼東西來換福音，而是要我們知道福音的寶貴。主耶穌曾為我們付上了極大的代價，故此我們不要輕看救恩，以為是理所當然的，是自己應得的。相反地，我們應該以感恩的態度來回應主。
Matthew 13:44-46
The gospel of the kingdom of God is precious. Jesus describes it as the treasure, the pearl. When people find what they treasure, they will pay whatever it costs to get what they desire. Do we take the gospel as the treasure we find?
Jesus is not saying we need to trade the gospel for something but He wants us to know it costs. Though it is given freely we should not take it for granted. Instead we should appreciate how it costs the life of Jesus and what we can do as a return of gratitude.
