提摩太後書一章:1-2；5
神的小僕人
經文:
1 奉神旨意，照著在基督耶穌裡生命的應許，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，
2 寫信給我親愛的兒子提摩太，願恩惠憐憫平安，從父神和我們主基督耶穌，歸與你。
5 想到你心裡無偽之信，這信是先在你外祖母羅以和你母親友尼基心裡的，我深信也在你的心裡。
保羅寫信給他親愛的屬靈的兒子提摩太，鼓勵他秉持著無偽之信，像他母親和祖母一樣，並照她們遺下給他的教導去生活。藉着聖靈的引導，繼續把神的愛和一切的善行傳承下去，如此神的真理和心意也能繼續傳承給下一代。
或許今天我們在乎的是我們留下什麼財富給我們的子女，但重要的是我們的信仰和品格，這才是最寶貴的遺產。求主幫助我們，不要忘記神的真理和教導，要一直的傳下去。
2 Timothy 1:1-2;5
This passage is Paul’s encouragement to Timothy to live according to the teaching of his mother and grandmother. Christian heritage is God’s will. The good deeds and Christian characters are valuables that pass onto younger generation to help them carry on the will of God and His mission for His people.
Many of us may think that a huge estate for our children is important. However the most valuable estate is our example, our witness and our Christian characters. They are the ingredients of future generations of God’s people. Lord help us never to forget this mission of passing on the Christian heritage to our younger people and our children.
