約翰福音八章31-36節
神的小僕人
經文:
31 耶穌對信他的猶太人說：你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒。
32 你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。
33 他們回答說：我們是亞伯拉罕的後裔，從來沒有作過誰的奴僕，你怎麼說：你們必得自由呢？
34 耶穌回答說：我實實在在的告訴你們，所有犯罪的，就是罪的奴僕。
35 奴僕不能永遠住在家裡；兒子是永遠住在家裡。
36 所以天父的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。
在現今的世代，許多人都成了物質的奴隸、名利的奴隸、甚至是自己情緒的奴隸。社會雖然推崇自由，但許多時候我們卻被自己的思維和慾望困住，失去了自由。真正的自由是在主裏面的，神給了我們一些規範，叫我們在當中自由，並且蒙福，但我們卻追尋自己所喜歡的自由，甚至放縱，結果只會帶給自己無比的困擾，更深的陷阱，更大的痛楚。
真理叫我們得自由，在真理裏我們是自由的。在真理裏我們不再是罪的奴僕，也不是物質名利的奴隸，我們在基督裏是神的兒女，是有名份的，靈裏釋放，心中自由。
John 8:31-36
In the modern world, we claim that we have freedom. But many of us are slaves to materials, slaves to fame and power and slaves to our emotions. Real freedom is walking in God’s boundary of blessings and joy. In Him we are free in spirit and in soul. Unfortunately many of us are still pursuing the worldly desires that drag into greater despair, deeper traps and pain. Sometimes we need to differentiate real freedom from indulgence.
The Truth will set us free and we are indeed free. We need to know that we are no longer slaves to sins and to the penalty of our depravity. We are children of God and this identity ensure our status as blessed people setting free from the bondage of sins.
