傳道書四章9-12節
神的小僕人
經文:
9 兩個人總比一個人好，因為二人勞碌同得美好的果效。
10 若是跌倒，這人可以扶起他的同伴，若是孤身跌倒，沒有別人扶起他來，這人就有禍了。
11 再者，二人同睡就都暖和，一人獨睡怎能暖和呢？
12 有人攻勝孤身一人，若有二人便能敵擋他，三股合成的繩子，不容易折斷。
有沒有孤單難過的經歷呢？當我們在困境時，我們需要一些關懷、一聲問候、一點幫助、多些鼓勵。基督徒群體之所以被建立，就是要互相支持、彼此親愛，以致軟弱的被建立、跌倒的也可以快快起來。
傳道書提醒我們兩個人總比一個好，三股合成的繩子不容易折斷。我們今天把這些叫做合力，是堅固的堡壘，是信徒建立的最佳防禦。今天許多人都在孤單中、在失望中、在缺乏愛中，我們怎樣回應上帝的話呢？
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Have you ever been down and lonely? When we are downcast, we need a bit of care, a word of comfort, some kind of support, and some encouragement. The purpose of the Christian community is to build up a protection for loneliness and weakness. It is a holy fortress to fight against the attack of enemies.
The writer of Ecclesiastes reminded us that two is better than one. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. We are a family and we need each other in times of weakness. Yet many of us are still lonely and feel unloved. What have we done to our brothers and sisters while they are in need?
