利未記二十三章39-44節

神的小僕人

經文:

39 你們收藏了地的出產，就從七月十五日起，要守耶和華的節七日，第一日為聖安息，第八日也為聖安息。

40 第一日要拿美好樹上的果子和棕樹上的枝子，與茂密樹的枝條並河旁的柳枝，在耶和華─你們的神面前歡樂七日。

41 每年七月間，要向耶和華守這節七日，這為你們世世代代永遠的定例。

42 你們要住在棚裡七日，凡以色列家的人，都要住在棚裡。

43 好叫你們世世代代知道我領以色列人出埃及地的時候，曾使他們住在棚裡，我是耶和華你們的神。

44 於是摩西將耶和華的節期，傳給以色列人。

摩西向以色列人宣布有關住棚節的條例。住棚節是一個感恩的節日，首日和最後一日都是安息日，中間的時間就是一起歡樂感恩、獻祭感謝。以色列人在這七日都要住在棚裏，是紀念他們出埃及的時候，居無定所，但上帝每天都供應和看顧。

住棚節的聚集鞏固了以色列人的認同感，讓他們在面對個人和群體的苦難時，仍能宣告上帝的信實與看顧。

今天我們都住在有天花板、有冷暖氣的房屋中，我們有安身之所，且食物充足，很難體會以色列人在曠野走過40年的日子。今天我們在豐富之中，但似乎少了感恩？也少了住棚節的聚集所帶來的那種認同歸屬感？

Leviticus 23 : 39-44

Moses declares the festival of tabernacle for the Israelites to follow. It is a festival of celebration and thanksgiving with the first and last day being sabbath rest. In between Israelites are to live in temporary shelter to remember the time of the wilderness.

We now live in shelter with roof and facilities. In winter we have heaters and in summer we have coolers. We may not understand what is like to have no permanent shelter. The Israelites experienced the grace and provision of God during their deprivation. While we are in sufficiency, do we thank God for what we have? Are we thankful for His grace and provision?
