彼得前書三章13-18節
神的小僕人
經文:
13 你們若是熱心行善，有誰害你們呢？
14 你們就是為義受苦，也是有福的，不要怕人的威嚇，也不要驚慌，
15 只要心裡尊主基督為聖，有人問你們心中盼望的緣由，就要常作準備，以溫柔敬畏的心回答各人。
16 存著無虧的良心，叫你們在何事上被毀謗，就在何事上，可以叫那誣賴你們在基督裡有好品行的人，自覺羞愧。
17 神的旨意若是叫你們因行善受苦，總強如因行惡受苦。
18 因基督也曾一次為罪受苦，〔受苦有古卷作受死〕就是義的代替不義的，為要引我們到神面前，按著肉體說他被治死，按著靈性說他復活了。
使徒彼得鼓勵我們要在主裡堅持行善，持守良善，就算是被惡意中傷、背後毁謗、刻意攻擊，我們也要堅持。為義受苦的是有福的(14節)。
這怎麼可以行出來呢？唯有我們敬畏尊重主耶穌基督，靠主得勝，以善勝惡。我們也要預備好自己，當被人問起信仰相關的問題時，可以隨時隨地以溫柔的心，把我們在主裏得着的盼望告訴別人。
1 Peter 3:13-18
Apostle Peter encouraged us to persevere in our goodness. Despite attack, slander or malicious accusation, we can continue our goodness by following the goodness of God.
How can we do it? If we revere Christ, we can do it. It is a blessing if we continue to do what is right despite of suffering. Peter encouraged believers not to be fearful of threats but to be hopeful in the Lord. Be ready to tell others where our hope comes from. We can then witness God but trusting Him, by overcoming evil by good and by our hope in Him.
