提摩太前書六章 6-11節
神的小僕人
 
經文:
6 然而敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了。
7 因為我們沒有帶甚麼到世上來，也不能帶甚麼去。
8 只要有衣有食，就當知足。
9 但那些想要發財的人，就陷在迷惑，落在網羅，和許多無知有害的私慾裡，叫人沉在敗壞和滅亡中。
10 貪財是萬惡之根，有人貪戀錢財，就被引誘離了真道，用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。
11 但你這屬神的人，要逃避這些事，追求公義，敬虔，信心，愛心，忍耐，溫柔。
 
貪愛世界，特別是貪財，是信徒的頭號敵人，我們在不知不覺中就陷入了這陷阱。保羅給了我們一條出路: 敬虔加上知足就是大利。敬虔代表着尊敬上帝，和上帝有一種相信和跟從的關係。知足是感恩，感謝神每天的供應，有嗎哪也有迦南美果。
 
今天我們是否落在上面的陷阱中？或是什麼陷阱中？求神幫助我們過一個敬畏祂的生活，並學習每天感恩，這就是我們最大的福氣。
 
1 Timothy 6: 6-11
 
We are distracted and fall on the trap of worldly temptation, and there are tunes we don't even notice.  Paul gives us two ways to deal with us.  Godliness and  Contentment is great gain.  Godliness is fear God , trusting and relying on Him with daily relationship.  Contentment comes from gratefulness.  Thanking God for manner and the fruits of Canaan for they are all God-given.
 
Are we aware that we have been distracted and swayed away from God? May God help us to trust Him and be in Him everyday.  May we be thankful and contented for God always provides.
