約翰福音十五章5-8節
神的小僕人
經文:
5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做什麼。
6 人若不常在我裡面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裡燒了。
7 你們若常在我裡面，我的話也常在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求就給你們成就。
8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。
主耶穌提醒我們作門徒的，好像枝子連結在葡萄樹上，這樣我們才能結果子。主耶穌更應許我們，凡在祂裏面的，我們就能作我們所不能作的，我們就得着我們所祈求的，我們就可以成為主的見證。
在疫情之下，我們長時間在家，覺得無聊苦悶，求主幫助我們在這段期間更渴望親近祂，讀經和祈禱，與祂連結，多結果子。
John 15:5-8
Jesus told His disciples that we need to remain in Him like branches in order to produce fruits. Jesus promised us that for those who remain in Him, we can make possible the impossible, and what we ask for will be done. We can then be His witness for His glory.
Under the present health threat, how can we remain in Him? What are we doing while home? Watching television, getting information from the internet, eating and idling are common. Have we thought of staying close and remaining in Him through hopeful waiting and sober praying? Jesus has overcome the world and we can, through His grace and empowerment if we remain in Him.
