路加福音三章15-18節
神的小僕人
經文:
15 百姓指望基督來的時候，人都心裡猜疑，或者約翰是基督。
16 約翰說：我是用水給你們施洗，但有一位能力比我更大的要來，我就是給他解鞋帶也不配，他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。
17 他手裡拿著簸箕，要揚淨他的場，把麥子收在倉裡，把糠用不滅的火燒盡了。
18 約翰又用許多別的話勸百姓，向他們傳福音。
當施洗約翰介紹彌賽亞的降臨，他指出，彌賽亞將會用聖靈和火給信徒施洗，換句話說，信徒將會被聖靈充滿，但這火又是什麼意思呢？施洗約翰說明聖靈可以像火一般鼓勵我們、激動我們、甚至燃燒我們，叫我們的心被主的愛和聖靈感動，興旺起來，為主作工。
聖靈的工作運行在我們心裏，改變我們的心思意念，叫我們的心貼近神的心意，愛神愛人。聖靈啊，請祢來，現在就住在我們心裏。
Luke 3:15-18
When John the Baptist talked about the coming of the messiah, he told the people that they would be baptized by the Holy Spirit and fire. The filling of Holy Spirit is to fill us with the love of God, and the fire of the Spirit spurs us, and inspires us to do what God desires.
The work of the Holy spirit is working among us, changing our desires to follow the will of God, love Him and His people. Holy Spirit, May You dwell in us today.
