提摩太後書二章1-4節
神的小僕人

經文:
1 我兒阿，你要在基督耶穌的恩典上剛強起來。
2 你在許多見證人面前聽見我所教訓的，也要交託那忠心能教導別人的人。
3 你要和我同受苦難，好像基督耶穌的精兵。
4 凡在軍中當兵的，不將世務纏身，好叫那招他當兵的人喜悅。

保羅提醒他在主裡的兒子提摩太，作主的門徒和工人有四方面的學習。首先要在主的恩典中剛強，意思是不是靠自己而剛強，而是因為主加恩加力而剛強。另外，要在主裏去教導人，教導要謹慎，要言行一致作一個好見證。

保羅更提醒提摩太要預備在服事中受苦，並且知道自己服事的對象是上帝，祂才是我們服事的目的。

願我們靠主剛強，作基督耶穌的精兵，凡事討神喜悦。

2 Timothy 2:1-4

Paul gave his son in the Lord four important instructions. To serve the Lord we need to constant turn to the grace of God’s enabling. If we are to be teachers we have to be extra careful and have to be consistent in words and in deeds.

Paul also reminded Timothy and us, we need to prepare to share the suffering in ministry and to recognise we serve only to our Lord, and Him alone.
