約翰壹書五章13-15節
神的小僕人

經文:
13 我將這些話寫給你們信奉神兒子之名的人，要叫你們知道自己有永生。
14 我們若照他的旨意求甚麼，他就聽我們，這是我們向他所存坦然無懼的心。
15 既然知道他聽我們一切所求的，就知道我們所求於他的無不得著。

使徒約翰在約翰壹書和約翰福音（20章30-31節）都強調他寫下的書信是為了叫所有信耶穌的人知道自己有永生。永生的盼望給信徒生活的指望，也給我們按著神旨意向祂祈求的福氣。約翰告訴我們，只要是神的心意，我們所求的無不得着。

問題是我們常常所求的都是我們所願意的，而不是上帝的心意。或許我們會問什麼才是神的心意呢？神的心意就是叫人可以得着永生，多人得福，並認識上帝。

今天我們求什麼呢？

1 John 5:13-15

Apostle John spoke twice on the purpose of his writings (John 20:30-31). He wanted us to be sure that as believers of Christ we have eternal life. This is hope that we can rest upon and a godly perspective we cultivate on earth. We can come to God and ask for things according to His will.

We may ask then how do we know His will? The problem is we always ask what we want instead of what God desires. It is clear that God wants us to have salvation and to live in His will to bless others and to bring people to Christ.

What do we desire today? Is it spiritual blessing or earthly possessions? Do we ask only for what we want or what God wants from us?
